However, when I do mention a product, I will do my utmost best to research its availability for international readers. And I'm sure (I hope) everyone will find the tips and articles useful too.
The item I would like to recommend today is brilliant for people who have long, thick unmanageable hair that's also starting to look unhealthy.

I can honestly vouch from experience that this dryer helps to lock in your hair's natural oils and moisture, because after using it for the first time (still with heat defense, of course), my hair was already softer and looking a lot healthier, and I haven't looked back since.
I find it reasonably priced and would pay more for it if I had to. I am loving the way my hair feels now after drying my hair.

The dryer features an Ionic generator which delivers 4x the number of ions than a "standard dryer" which helps to lock in the natural moisture of your hair. This is great because I used to shy away from hairdryers and straighteners because of the beating my hair took when exposed to heat.
It is powerful - 2200W- and dries my long hair in no time. It has 3 heat and 2 speed settings which I found ideal and simple to use. It is perfect for everyday drying. Though I must add that it seems to be designed for right-handed people and those who are left-handed may have some trouble switching between settings when drying their hair.
The cord is slightly shorter than I would have liked it to be (1.8 m) and I have had to use an extension chord a few times in order to use it comfortably.
Another thing that attracted me to this hairdryer was, not only was it purple (my favourite colour), but it has a folding handle which makes it a lot easier lug around with me on my travels and nights at friends' houses.
It comes with a concentrator nozzle which came in handy when blow-drying my hair.
This dryer and I are going to be best friends for a long time.
